  • Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on 30 August 2021 announced cash rewards for players for winning medals at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
  • He announced a reward of Rs. 3 crores to Avani Lekhara for winning gold, Rs. 2 crores to Devendra Jhajharia for winning a silver medal, and Rs. 1 crore to Sundar Singh Gurjar for winning a bronze medal in Tokyo.
