Sometimes, a table cell is bigger than the other. Its span is spread to more rows or columns. Such cells can be created with the help of rowspan and colspan attributes.
The width and height attributes are used, such that downloading of an image will be faster after knowing the dimensions of the images in the browser.
(b) HTML tag for row is <tr>.
(b) <td> is used to add columns in the tables.
(b) rowspan = n will tell how many rows a cell should span.
(c) rowspan = n can be added to only <td> tag.
(a) colspan attribute is used to merge two or more columns to form a single column.
(d) colspan = n can be added to <td> tag.
True The rowspan attribute merges the cells row wise in a table.
False The rowspan attribute is used to make a cell span multiple rows
The difference is that the attribute on the class is shared by all instances. The attribute on an instance is unique to that instance.
