(d) The famous commentator of Vedic literature, associated with the Parmaras was Uvata. The Parmar dynasty was an early medieval Indian royal house that ruled over the Malwa region in central India. This dynasty was founded by Upendra in c. 800; the most significant ruler was Bhoja I. The seat of the Parmar kingdom was Dhangraja, the present day Dhar city in Madhya Pradesh.
