(i) Minerals are exhaustible.

(ii) They are limited.

(iii) Minerals have manifold uses.

(iv) Growth of industrialisation has accelerated the extraction of minerals.

We can conserve minerals by making an efficient use of them and using recyclable sources of energy wherever possible.
