A closed rectangular tank contains a certain amount of water. When the tank is placed on its 3 ft by 4 ft side, the height of the water in the tank is 5 ft . Wen the tank is placed on another side of dimensions 4 ft by 5 ft , what is the height, in feet,

Correct Answer: 3 feet
Of the 3 sides, two of them are mentioned first which is 3 and 4 and the water is at 5 ft. When it is on another two sides, we now see that the other side itself is 5 ft. So, all the water is full in the tank. Only way the water can rise is upto rest side, which is 3 ft.
